Power BI Developer
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Business Intelligence (BI) Developer and Architect to join our team. This role is crucial in designing, developing, and maintaining our BI solutions, with a strong focus on SAP data integration, transportation data, and API development. You will be responsible for building and optimizing BI solutions in Azure Data Lakes, ensuring that data is effectively collected, stored, and analyzed to support decision-making processes.

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
• BI Solution Design: Architect and develop end-to-end BI solutions that leverage SAP data and transportation datasets, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
• Azure Data Lake Management: Design and implement BI solutions within Azure Data Lakes, optimizing data storage and retrieval processes.
• Data Integration: Integrate data from various sources, including SAP systems and external APIs, into the Azure Data Lake to build a comprehensive data ecosystem.
• API Development: Develop and manage APIs to facilitate data exchange between systems, ensuring seamless integration and real-time data availability.
• Data Modeling: Create and maintain data models that support BI reporting and analytics needs, ensuring that models are scalable and efficient.
• Reporting and Analytics: Develop interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, providing stakeholders with actionable insights.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders, to understand their requirements and deliver BI solutions that meet their needs.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance of BI solutions, ensuring they meet the organization’s performance and scalability requirements.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for BI solutions, including architecture diagrams, data models, and integration points.
Qualifications:
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in BI development and architecture, with a focus on SAP data and Azure Data Lakes.
• Technical Skills:
o Strong experience with SAP data integration and management.
o Proficiency in developing and managing BI solutions in Azure Data Lakes.
o Experience in API development and management.
o Strong data modeling skills, with experience in designing scalable data models.
o Proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
